El Salar: Tiki Season

El Salar, the bar of The Westin Lima Hotel, presents its Tiki Season, with a whole new menu of refreshing cocktails, ready to discover and share.
A fresh menu
El Salar, The Westin Lima’s premium cocktail bar, is known for its casual and fun atmosphere, and for having a creative bar that is constantly innovating. To celebrate the summer season, El Salar presents its new Tiki cocktail menu, a trend it joins with a signature proposal.
In recent years, tiki cocktails have made a strong comeback, transporting us to tropical beaches and Polynesian rituals. It is an aspect that emerged in California, United States, in the thirties, which collected the flavors, colors and exoticism of the South Pacific islands. Today, the tiki trend continues to explore fruity ingredients, and to play with the shape of the glasses and the decoration of the drinks.
El Salar makes its own interpretation, appealing to sculptural glasses, entertaining presentations and surprising ingredients. Some of the exclusive cocktails that can only be enjoyed during the summer months are Salar Gets Tiki, with Plantation Overproof rum, mockingbird, mango, orange and passion fruit shurb and angostura bitters; Lupita, made with Alipus mezcal, watermelon liqueur, watermelon juice, ginger and sparkling water; Exotic Jack, based on Jack Daniels Honey, Licor 43, orchata, chapo, cinnamon syrup and cocoa bitter; and the Chullachaqui, a very local version, with Amazonian Gin, camu camu, orchata, copoasu, citrus falernum and angostura bitter. El Salar’s stamp is all over the menu.
By 2025, the Westin hotel bar will have a renewed program of events that will include activations related to art and music. For instance, in January, an art afternoon will be organized inviting you to challenge your imagination and skill, while enjoying a drink. The idea is to spend a different moment, with the best energy.
