Every July 28 and 29, Peru’s National Holidays are celebrated to commemorate the country’s declaration of independence. It is a symbol of national identity and a time of unity and, of course, traditional festivities in which gastronomy and music take center stage, as demonstrated by the special events organized by our hotels in each of their destinations.

Here, on July 28, a traditional Peruvian breakfast buffet is offered with live music and a station serving classic emolientes to complement the experience. The service is offered from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (live music takes place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM).

Nearby, in Miraflores, one of the city’s most lively and traditional neighborhoods, AC Lima Hotel also celebrates with an exquisite traditional Peruvian buffet in its well-stocked AC Kitchen, which is open to visitors from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM to begin such a special day in the best way possible and with the best flavor.

Located in Aloft Lima Miraflores, WXYZ Bar was designed for guests to relax and leave their rooms to socialize, eat, and drink. It is the space that shows that there is always something entertaining happening at Aloft. For the National Holidays, the bar organizes a traditional Peruvian buffet full of flavor and tradition, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

National Holidays unite the entire country, and each destination adds its own traditions, so this is an opportunity to discover Peru’s cultural richness. In Cusco, Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, has prepared a traditional Peruvian buffet with live Peruvian music in its Beer Garden, where you can enjoy the outdoors, imbued with the energy of the Sacred Valley, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM. This lunch includes a Pisco Sour, which is only fitting, as it is our signature cocktail.

On the central coast of Peru, Hotel Paracas, a Luxury Collection Resort, offers an excellent plan: an evening of live music and entertainment by the group Raíces Negras and DJ Deiv, exquisite cuisine, and exclusive signature cocktails in the Bar Lounge, overlooking the bay, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
