Special Paracas

Paracas Bay, just a 3-hour drive from Lima, is one of those complete and fascinating destinations that Peru has to offer. Year-round sunshine, nature, coastal life, adventure, and romance in the desert, all in one place. And at Hotel Paracas, a Luxury Collection Resort, you can experience it all through innovative offerings for all tastes.
Coastal Adventure
The Ballestas Islands are the perfect natural setting to encounter the diversity of coastal wildlife. The Paracas hotel organizes different tours: there is the classic trip that leaves from the hotel’s private pier and takes two hours; it passes by El Candelabro, a huge geoglyph in the sand on the coast of Ica, while sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and guano birds accompany you on the way to the islands.
There is also the option of taking this trip on Rayador, a premium boat for only 10 passengers that is equipped to explore the rocky nooks and crannies of the bay, as well as for longer voyages. The hotel organizes a trip that includes a short stop for swimming in the sea, and you can sunbathe on the front deck. This boat is ideal for a tour of the bay, wildlife watching trips, sport fishing, or surfing getaways. Alternatively, you can opt for a half-day or full-day trip on a luxury private yacht (for up to 12 people) and enjoy snacks and drinks by the sea.
One of the most special experiences is collecting fan shells at an authentic breeding ground in the reserve’s sea, followed by a tasting on board the boat. For the more athletic, the hotel offers activities such as wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking, which include all equipment, as well as bicycles and a tubing boat session.
Romance and Calm
Champagne Bites is the name of a two-hour yacht trip that includes a variety of snacks, drinks, and sparkling wine, inviting you to enjoy a more intimate moment at sea. If you want something more complete, you can organize a romantic dinner with a three-course menu and two glasses of cava, accompanied by background music and candles, with no corkage fee. This dinner can be ordered in your room, in the hotel’s pergola, in the Chalana restaurant, or in a private setting on the sand.
Another great way to enjoy the outdoors is with a bonfire on the sand organized by the hotel, and a fun snack of hot dogs and marshmallows. In addition, there is the Paracas Picnic, which includes sandwiches (regular and vegan), desserts, and a bottle of wine or two cocktails. Both experiences require a 24-hour advance reservation, which allows us to prepare everything in detail so that the result is an unforgettable moment with your partner, family, or friends.
