Journey of Flavors

A destination can be visited in many ways. In the case of Peru, its gastronomy offers a unique perspective of the country’s richness and tradition; at the same time, the lesser-known archaeological routes open the door to its history and culture. The goal is to explore.
Flavorful Voyage
The hotels that make up The Luxury Collection in Peru invite you to embark on a culinary journey, curated by renowned chefs and mixologists, in one of the most coveted gastronomic destinations in the world.
A Culinary Country
The Luxury Collection is a gateway to some of the most exciting destinations for the contemporary and global explorer. Traditions and heritages are integrated into our stays and inspire us to design memorable experiences that transform the traveler. Hence our Be Epicurean program, which offers an exceptional tasting of flavors as a central part of every visit.
Being Epicurean is about knowing the arts, refinements and pleasures of life. It is a vision that appeals, for example, to the delight of haute cuisine. The Luxury Collection in Peru honors this country of world cuisine: every day, in each of its hotels, unique and authentic culinary moments take place, rooted in the traditional culture of our destinations.
Elevated Cuisine
The Paracas Hotel, a Luxury Collection Resort offers experiences such as shell collecting in the Paracas National Reserve and the Del mar a la mesa lunch, featuring the best local seafood. Under the direction of executive chef Miguel Cabrera, the hotel recently launched its Travesía marina: a five-course tasting menu that celebrates the bay’s sustainable fishing tradition, honoring artisanal fishermen and their harmonious, ancestral coexistence with nature.
Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Cusco has designed different epicurean moments in the heart of the Andean city, such as its different classes and tastings led by chefs and mixologists who guide participants, while sharing the history and tradition represented by some of the best local ingredients and flavors. With a kitchen led by executive chef Carlos Ruiz, at Palacio del Inka’s Inti Raymi restaurant you can savor a tasting of native potatoes or the Menú Ancestral, which offers the best of international cuisine with a strong Novo-Andean influence.
At Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Sacred Valley, the rich landscape is the perfect setting for the Del huerto a la mesa experience, which invites you to participate in the harvesting of fresh produce from our organic garden, and then prepare it with the chef in a wood-fired kitchen on the banks of the mighty Vilcanota River. Executive Chef Liner Vega’s reverence for the destination’s nature is also reflected in experiences such as the Mayu Pata Lunch, a riverside lunch, and Samaya Time, a garden tour that allows you to learn more about the local herbs to be enjoyed at a unique teatime at the bar.
Finally, The Luxury Collection has created an experience that unites its three hotels in Peru, in a journey that goes from signature cocktails through special menus: Apus Ñam (Palacio del Inca), Qhapac Ñam (Tambo del Inka) and Wayra Ñam (Paracas Hotel). A flavorful voyage that leaves us amazed and satisfied.
