Food Donation & Community Impact
In partnership with banco de Alimentos Perú [Food Bank Peru], we donate perfectly prepared food to vulnerable populations instead of discarding it. In 2023, we donated about 5,000 kg of food, benefiting more than 2,300 people. This collaboration shows our commitment to the community and the reduction of emissions.
Social Commitment to Our Hotels
We prioritize local sourcing for our hotels, building partnerships with entrepreneurs to contribute to their development. We opened MANTAY Modern Art Gallery at the Hotel Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, enriching the cultural offer of the city by promoting the work of enterpreneurial masters of Peruvian art. The works on display contribute to the sustainability of the social project “Casa de Acogida Mantay” [Mantay's Fostering House], supporting teenage mothers and their children in the local area. In addition, the artists teach workshops for young people in the program.
Commitment to Volunteering & the Community
Our volunteering program, "Inspira Intursa", fosters a culture of service to our communities in our employees. In 2023, nearly 1,000 volunteers served more than 2,700 hours, benefiting 500 people in activities such as beach cleanups, tree planting, and training. Hotel Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa supported schools in Urubamba by repairing and beautifying facilities to get the school year off to a great start.
Intursa Healthy Families
We developed a comprehensive program for employees, covering educational support to complete their studies in partnership with educational institutions, offering mental health internships, intervening in precarious housing situations to improve their quality of life, promoting internal entrepreneurship and training to strengthen their knowledge.
